Seishinsekai
A downloadable game for Windows
Inspired by Soup 0.9 and #21 The World, Seishinsekai aims to let you explore tiny dream worlds based on dreams I've had, illustrated with a collage of photos (many of which are my own) and art.
This is my very first video game. I wanted to make it at all costs, so that I no longer have to wonder if I'm able to create one. The answer is: somewhat.
It's a first game, so don't expect game of the year material, but it has no glitches and I even managed to create two different routes!
Seishinsekai was created for the AGD Server's 2nd Game Jam with the theme "Heaven or Hell".

-Insects (one of the levels contain a giant photorealistic butterfly)

I loved this! very pleasing aesthetically, absolutely nailed the atmosphere. As an aspiring game dev, this was also a good reminder to not obsess over mechanics as much as i do because games are also art!!!!!

Yes, that is exactly the case. Soup 0.9 was the game that showed me that even the most simplest of games can have value. That's why I made this in its image.

What an awesome little experience! I made sure to do both routes and theyre equally interesting and curious. Some rooms are so tranquil while others are scary or uncomfortable, youve nailed the ambience with all these little rooms. Its hard to explain why, but the little candle in the forest is my favorite one (the touhou one is a close second tho, it looks amazing)
